A physical publication inspired by, and including, designers from the Mid-Century Modern Era.

Murphy Studios is a non-profit organization focused on teaching kids from third to fifth grade about art and design history through the use of animated videos and corresponding interactive books. This allows the kids to not only learn about art and design, but also apply these techniques within the book.

Murphy Studios aims to reach as many kids as possible, taking on direct inspiration from the Charles Eames quote, “the best for the most for the least,” reaching kids in, and outside, of the classroom. This is done through multiple avenues. The videos on our website are free to watch and use in classrooms, and with every individual book purchased, we are able to donate simplified work books to a selected school for free, allowing more kids to have access to this information. 

Teachers can apply for their schools and classrooms to receive these books through our website, giving teachers a direct channel to improve their classroom experience.
